ABOUT
Baldy Installations
Family business; family values
Kris and Nicki Shaw
We’re a husband and wife team based on the Isle of Bute, where we live with our family. Together with our talented designer and skilled team of associate fitters, we approach every installation project as a personal collaboration. We love what we do – and it shows in our work!
Kris Shaw
Kris began his career as a joiner, working in the trade until joining his family’s building merchants for 18 years, where he managed several branches across Scotland.
Kris then decided to launch his own business in 2019, adopting the nickname “Baldy” as a tribute to his grandfather. The company has gone from strength to strength since then, and is in the process of expanding its reach and services.
Nicki Shaw
Coming from a background in banking and book-keeping, Nicki manages all financial, administrative and organisational aspects of the business, and is the first point of contact for every client.
Alongside her husband Kris, Nicki oversees each project from concept design to completion, ensuring that every project runs smoothly and efficiently.
